In this tutorial session, I’ll give an insight into the modelling of fabric and general textiles covering physically realistic simulation of clothes, dedicated tools (Marvelous Designer) that eases the creation of textiles and methods to speed up the rendering process of clothes in Blender.

09:45-10:30Chris Kuhn: Constraint-Based Mechanical Rigging in Blender; A lecture on using constraints, empties, and parenting relationships to simulate mechanical movement. The lecture will demonstrate the rigging of a fighter aircraft, including control surfaces, landing gear, thrust vanes, and VTOL systems. Techniques covered here should have a wide range of applications in aircraft, science fiction, and other areas.
